General Sessions

Updated 02/09/2022 @ 00:30

Where are sessions held?

All our sessions are held up at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex.

We shoot on their indoor tennis courts during the colder months before transitioning to shooting on their fields when the weather improves (around Easter time).

Outdoors we're able to shoot at up to 90 meters with plenty of spare room.

We currently have 13 bosses (all full-sized), and are constantly monitoring our attendance to ensure we react to any large increases so that we are able to adequately meet demand.

When do we shoot?

The following are our allocated session times for the coming 2021/22 indoor season:
Wednesday
19:30 - 22:00
Full-Range Training Session
Friday (Development Archers only)
19:00 - 22:00
Development Session
Full-Range
Sunday
9:00 - 12:00
Full-Range Training Session

Who may attend?

General sessions are open to all current members of the club & approved guest archers (see Guest Archers for more information).

How are the sessions structured?

During general sessions, archers are free (when the line-captain has indicated it is safe to do so) to shoot as and when there is space on the line. Target face size may be selected by the archers but the committee reserve the right to overrule said choices should the need arise.

The number of arrows permitted per end per archer will be designated by the line-captain, but will default to 3 for indoors and 6 for outdoors.
