Hi, I'm Tyler. I started shooting at this club with no prior experience a bit over 2 years ago and joining was the greatest decision I have made during my time in Bristol. Not only do I love the sport, but I have met incredible people here and made the best memories with them.

As captain, I hope to bring an even better experience for new and returning members. I look forward to meeting a lot of new people and further developing the club this upcoming year!

SHUBHON MIAH

Hi, I'm Shubhon. I joined archery in my first year of uni as I'd always been interested in the sport and it's been quite great fun. Despite my questionable shooting skills, I find it enjoyable thanks to the great community that the club harbors and the welcoming feel of the club. I look forward to being your Vice-Captain next year and hope to keep being able to help the club improve throughout the new academic year, as well as assist any club member whenever needed. I also hope that I don't break any more things this year or I might go into financial ruin.
Hope to see lots of new faces this year.

Hi, I’m Zoe! I joined archery in my second year after a good friend recommended that I give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. I've only been part of the club for a year, but I've met so many amazing people through this sport and had such a great time training and competing. I'm excited to be your treasurer this year, and I hope to help make the club even better for everyone!

JEREMY THOMAS MAXWELL

Hi I'm Jeremy! I've been doing archery for around four years and I'm excited to be starting my second year at Bristol. Although I've been shooting for a while, joining the club has been a great way to meet new people and enjoy the sport alongside such a welcoming community. This year I'll be your Secretary, helping to keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. If you ever have any questions about the club, events or anything else, I'm always happy to help or point you in the right direction. I'm also hoping to get more competitive this year and push myself to improve, while still making the most of everything the club has to offer. Whether you're joining us for the first time or coming back for another year, I can't wait to meet you all and see how many medals we win!

Hi, I'm Lily. I joined the club in my 1st year with no prior experience and have been in love with the sport ever since. The club has given me so many great memories from competitions, fun shoots, and most importantly, making the most amazing and supportive friends. Lucas (Gert) and I are looking forward to being your development officers this upcoming year. Hoping to support all new and returning members in achieving their goals.

LUCAS 'GERT' GERTMAN

I'm Lucas, but everyone knows me as Gert. I am a 4th year veterinary science student and this will also be my 4th year of archery. This year I'm excited to team up with Lily as your development officers and bring you a brilliant development course. Being part of archery has been one of the highlights of my time at university and I look forward to being able to improve the development of our archers, both old and new. I'm excited to shoot with everyone again this year and to meet all our new beginners.

Hello there! I am Will your new Comps Officer. I joined the club last year as a novice learning to shoot recurve and this would be the second year for me in both archery and our club.
I have very much enjoyed shooting and engaging in different competitions. Hopefully more fun and friendly comps will be arranged in the coming year and I'm excited to help more people get involved in competitions, whether you're completely new to competing or already experienced. See you all in the coming year!

Hi, I’m Jay. I started shooting as a novice in my first year, initially I was drawn in because I loved the competitive side of the sport, but I've stuck around because of amazing people I've met through the sport. Archery may be an individual sport, but the community and friends you make are what make the good shoots fun, and the bad shoots more bearable. As Wellbeing and Equalities officer, it's my responsibility to make sure everyone in the club has this same experience, and feel support in every aspect of archery and the society as a whole.

Hi! I’m Thilona!
I joined Bristol Archery in my third year after deciding I wanted to try something new. What began as trying something new quickly became one of the highlights of my university experience.
While I enjoy the challenge of improving my own shooting, it's the people and sense of community that have kept me coming back. As Equipment Officer, I want to help create that same welcoming environment for everyone, whether you're picking up a bow for the first time, looking to improve your technique, or thinking about competing. I'm always happy to help however I can, so if you have any questions or just fancy a chat, feel free to come and say hello! Looking forward to seeing everyone on the shooting line!

Hi, I'm Will. I joined archery in my second year of uni. I might not have the best technique but it's been made fun by the people and the silly things I get up to, like impersonating the Aber president. I look forward to being an official equipment officer rather than the shadow one, and I hope to keep on top of the amazing work done last year!

MAJA KLICZKA

Hi, I'm Maja. I've been shooting for over a decade now for Cleve Archers and the county and joined UoB Archery in my first year! This will now be my third year in the club and second as social media officer. Out of all my years shooting, the first year in this club was the most welcoming and part of a community I'd felt, with people of a similar age and like-minded to me. I'm excited to get to know all the new and lovely faces over the year at our give it a gos, beginners courses and more! And most importantly to document all of it :)
