I have been shooting recurve for 7 years an enjoy shooting competitively up to a national level. I look forward to continuing to develop the club and organising SWWUs as President of SWWU for this year. I aim to stay in the top 10 of experienced recurve men nationally, and continue claiming club records. |

Hiya I'm Lily, and I joined the club in my 1st year as a novice. I've had a great time making new friends outside my course and competing in lots of competitions. I am excited for another successful year of shooting now as an experienced archer. This year, I aim to work on my technique ahead of the new competition season and continue to help the club develop as treasurer c: |

Hi! I’m Rhianna, and I joined the club through the beginner’s course in my second year having never done archery before! Since then I have made some amazing friends and had a blast falling in love with the sport. I’m really excited this year to earn more badges and start shooting in more competitions. I also can’t wait to support the club as secretary and meet all our new members! |
Julian ChanDevelopment OfficerDentistry 4th Year, He/Him
Hello! I'm Julian and I joined with no experience of archery in year 1 of my degree through the beginners course. Since then I've participated in the indigo Cup, SWWUs and BUCS, even taking home a few medals. I find that Archery is a great way to hang out with friends as well as practice a useful skill. This year will be my second year in the role of Development Officer and I, with Rex, hope to build upon the success of last year's beginners course to make it even more inclusive, educational and fun! |

Hi! I’m Rex and I joined the club 3 years ago and was one of the best decisions I’ve made at Uni. The club has been a great way to socialise and meet the friendliest people. My aim for this year is to improve my technique as a Barebow archer and maybe try some recurve too. Julian and I are looking forward to running a fun and informative beginners course, welcoming those that wish to try a new sport. Hope to see you this Fall! |

Heya, I'm Max, I'll be your comps officer this year! I joined the club in my first year and have been loving it ever since. Archery has been such a great way to meet the loveliest people, whether in Bristol or from other clubs in our regional league. I hope I can help organise all aspects of comps along the year successfully for all members of the club! Feel free to say hi if you see me at session :) |

Hello, I joined the club in my second year with 0 prior experience and have had no regrets since. It’s been an incredible experience to be part of such a welcoming and close-knit group, and I’ve gained precious friendships through this sport. This coming academic year, I’m looking forward to working on my focus and understanding of the sport. As Wellbeing Officer, I also plan to help maintain and build upon the warm and friendly environment the club offers. Feel free to come to me for a chat whenever, or if you need a listening ear |

In 2015, I watched Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye shoot a bow and arrow on screen in Age of Ultron and decided it was my dream to be like him. 10 years later with much more archery experience, I am saddened to report that I am still not as cool as Hawkeye. I’ve been doing recurve archery for almost 2 years now, and want to take my skills to an even further level outside of shooting at university competitions. Archery society has been one of the best societies I’ve joined this year, with the most open and welcoming group of people I’ve ever met. As one of your equipment officers, I work to help you maintain and learn about one of the most important parts of the sport- the actual equipment you work with. I love talking about archery as well, so feel free to approach me during sessions! :] |
Segh GilhamEquipment Officer
Veterinary Medicine, 2nd year, He/Him/They/Them
I'm Segh, I started archery in the February Beginners Course of my first year. While I had no real previous experience of archery, it follows suit with my other hobbies, past and present. A while ago a friend made a joke that I was training for the apocalypse, and with archery added to my list of skills, that statement is looking less and less like a joke. I started as a barebow archer and am now a Longbow archer. This year, I am looking to work on improving my skills, as well as my overall knowledge of archery. |

Hi Guys, I joined the club last year as a novice barebow and I’m glad I did, I’ve made so many good friends through archery and I can’t wait to shoot with them all again. This year I’m looking forward to competing as an experienced barebow and hopefully having a lot of fun along the way! |

Hello everyone! I'm Meg and I've dreamed of becoming an archer since I was a child - and here I am, making my dreams come true. I thought archery would be the best thing in my live and I have to admit, it's even better! Pushing my limits and seeing how I can improve by intensive training and practice really proves to me that we can truly become whoever and whatever we like. When I am not researching or destroying targets I enjoy crocheting (you will definitely see me crocheting on the range and during comps!) and taking pictures. My love to photography pushed me to take a role as a Social Media Officer, and I can't wait to document the life of the Club this year! |
